Since 1983, many moments have marked the history of Sonus faber; the launch of the Olympica Collection 6 years ago is one of them. One of the first lines presented as a complete family of products, but above all, the very first one to feature original drivers, entirely designed in Sonus faber.

Olympica Nova is the second generation of the iconic family of 2013, improved in its form and substance, imbued with the timeless values that inspired us in creating the original line. The result is a new Collection that embraces the most advanced technologies that already enhance our most prestigious creations.

The lack of flat and parallel walls improves enclosure performance and maintains the typical asymmetrical Lute shape of first generation Olympica. The asymmetrical shape of the cabinet is an original design concept that allows versatile positioning of the speakers to tune the bass response in any room.al balance of the project. Inspired by nature, the lines follow the flow of a circular spiral motion, achieving a more organic cabinet structure. No longer just a functional element added to handle airflow, the reflex duct is now fully integrated into the cabinet, further improving the speed and transparency of sound.

The entire structure of the acoustic enclosure has been redesigned: Similar to the Homage Tradition and Reference Collections, the walls are made with eight layers of bended wood, providing the cabinet with extreme rigidity.

Follows the same construction of the midrange of its siblings, with 2 main differences. The Dust-cap, coated in fabric to provide an air-tight seal to maximizes the moving surface, increases air movement without distortion. The moving coil optimized for bass performance with much longer throw, improves driver excursion and the overall magnetic field.

The natural leather embellishes the drivers mask. Genuine Italian leather that, as per our brand’s tradition, is applied by hand in the production department in Vicenza.

The 28 mm silk soft dome tweeter features the DAD™ technology (Damped Apex Dome™) that enhances the smoothness and extension in the high frequency by applying local dampening to the apex typically responsible for anti-phase behavior of soft dome diaphragms. The DAD™ structure has been totally redesigned; a solid piece of aluminum die-cast includes both arch and ring on the dome to increase the strength and accuracy of the system.

The 150 mm passive radiator takes up the fine tuning of the loudspeaker.

The crossover network implements Paracross Topology™, making the crossover less sensitive to radio-frequency interference, improving transient response and lowering noise floor. The filtering topology features new exclusive Clarity Cap capacitors, customized for Sonus faber.

Just like the rest of the cabinet, the front baffle is made in the walnut or wenge hand-finished natural wood. Our designers wished to pay homage to the most representative material of Sonus faber, making it even more of a standard-bearer.

Sonus faber always found its inspiration in the highest Italian culture. This time we entrusted the history of our Literature for representing the new Sonetto Collection.

The Sonetto (Sonnet) is the most ancient Italian Poetic structure. Originally it meant "Sound, Melody" and was traditionally used to accompany music performances. The first step in the Sonus faber world brings the name of the foundations of Literature history in Italy and in the rest of the world.

Its small dimensions and its beautiful and refined design make it a great choice if you want to set up a multi-room system, as it fits easily in different environments, it ensures optimum performance even with its discreet physical presence. Created, as the name suggests, to be wall mounted and adjustable thanks to its jointed bracket, the Wall is a speaker that offers many answers to different sound needs: great for those who want to build a two-channel audio system that does not take up valuable space and versatile in the role of speaker in a home theater system.

According with the typical clean design language and elegant proportions of the collection, the on-wall speaker's front baffle is an integral part of the cabinet creating a seamless structure with the curved sides. The gun-metal finished aluminum aesthetic rings, that frame the new drivers, are the only elements that break this continuity.

The silk dome tweeter with the DAD™ (Damped Apex Dome™) technology, is placed on the front panel of the Sonetto collection's on-wall speaker together with a 150 mm passive radiator, plus a 150 mm midwoofer featuring the Sonus faber die cast aluminum basket and the natural fiber and a paper blend air dried diaphragm.

As the name suggests, Sonetto Wall has been created to be wall mounted and to be easily adjustable thanks to its jointed bracket.
